Kenai Peninsula College is hosting two events this week with the Alaska Native Oratory Society.
Suzie Kendrick with KPC elaborated on society member Jack Dalton’s presentation.
Kendrick: “And Dalton will be presenting ‘My Heart Runs in Two Directions at Once’ and he’s very well known for his active story telling.”
Dalton will be presenting in the McClane Commons of KPC at 7pm on Thursday, March 27.
The Alaska Native Oratory Society will also hold its 6th Annual Regional Competition Friday March 28.
Kendrick: “There will also be an open mic and that’s going to be occuring from 1-3 pm on March 28, also in the McClane Commons here at the Kenai River Campus. Participants are speaking on the topic ‘Voices of Our Future: The Healing Power of Story’.”
Both events are free and the public is welcome to attend.
