The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported no new positive COVID-19 cases in their Thursday update. That leaves the total positive case count in the state at 402.
The number of active cases in the state is 36. The active case count has not been at 50 or higher since May 5.
The total number of recovered patients, as of Thursday’s update, stands at 356, including four new recovered cases recorded yesterday.
The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 39,545. This means that no new positive results were found despite a daily jump of 2,500 tests. A total of 2,150 tests have been conducted in the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on May 20.
