Former Kansas beauty queen and star of the Outdoor Channel’s “Limitless with Theresa Vail” has plead guilty to killing an Alaskan grizzly bear illegally.
Vail was sentenced Wednesday to one-year of probation and a $750 fine.
A charging document stated that Vail was on a guided hunt in May 2015 where she held a single bear tag.
The 25-year-old shot a bear and while attempting to kill it with a second shot, she killed another bear.
The document says the master guide was contacted and a collective decision was made to fly out another bear tag. Vail stated that at the master guide’s request, she backdated and signed the additional tag.
