The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District began Alaska Measures of Progress testing today.
Dusek: “I’m encouraging kids to make sure they get good rest and they get to school on time and please check with your local school for times on that testing.”
That was Superintendent Sean Dusek who added that following the testing the students get a vacation day this week.
Dusek: “No school for students or teachers and that is actually the last vacation day until May 21st which is when summer starts.”
That does not include Friday, May 1, which is the last early release day scheduled for the year.
