Heroin, methamphetamine, and a stolen firearm were allegedly found on an Anchor Point man last Saturday after Alaska State Troopers executed a search warrant.

Officers visited 31-year-old Benjamin S. Harden at his home in Anchor Point a little after 6:30pm Saturday after they say they found Harden with two stolen guns during a traffic stop on February 5th.

After the initial traffic stop, officers obtained the search warrant and used it last weekend to find the drugs and additional gun.

Harden was arrested on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th degrees along with charges of misconduct involving a weapon in the 2nd degree and theft in the 2nd degree.  During Harden’s arrest he was reportedly found with methamphetamine and cash. Both were seized and Harden was transported to the Homer Jail where he was held without bail pending arraignment.  The investigation is ongoing.
