The Soldotna Alaska State Trooper K-9 Team responded on Sunday evening to Sabaca Road after 69-year-old Edward Taylor of Seldovia reported his cabin was burglarized and his white 2009 Ford F150 had been stolen, according to the online trooper dispatch.

This (Monday) morning before 1:00 a.m. the stolen vehicle was located driving into the Soldotna Safeway parking lot. The male exited the driver side of the vehicle and was contacted by Alaska State Troopers. He was identified as 43-year-old Roy Landon Taylor of Anchorage. A female that exited the passenger side of the stolen vehicle was identified as 38-year-old Jacquelyn A. Taylor of Anchorage.

An APSIN check revealed that Jacquelyn had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failure to appear for the original charges of theft. Both Roy and Jacquelyn were processed, transported, and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial on one charge each of burglary in the first degree and vehicle theft in the first degree.
