An Anchorage man with a felony record was arrested in Homer on February 16 after attempting to elude Alaska State Troopers.
Around 5:53 pm on February 16, Troopers attempted a traffic stop in front of the Homer Police Department.
The vehicle fled down East End Road but Troopers were able to apprehend the driver of the vehicle after he lost control near Mile 4 of the road.
Investigation revealed the driver, 46-year-old Thomas Barclay of Anchorage, was under the influence and was driving after his license had been revoked.
Barclay was also found to be a felon in possession of a handgun.
He was arrested for Felony DUI, Felony Eluding, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the 3rd degree, also a felony.
He was also charged with driving with a revoked license and Reckless driving.
The Anchorage man was transported to Homer Jail and held without bail.
