Meet multiple employers and training providers from various industries at the annual Kenai Peninsula Job & Career Fair on Wed, April 16th!
Business Connections Specialist for the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Kate Cooper, says that it’s open to all ages and will host not only career opportunities statewide but nationwide.
“We also offer some different opportunities for not just careers but getting some training for those careers. So we’re going to have lots of different local businesses as well as some of our United States government, Navy, National Guard, those folks will be there to represent as well to show what opportunities are available in Kenai as well as nationwide.” Cooper says.
Cooper recommends bringing copies of your resume and dressing for potential interviews. However, if you don’t have a resume, she says individuals can swing by the Kenai Alaska Job Center before going to the Fair.
It will occur at Old Carrs Mall on Kenai Spur Hwy in Kenai from 10 am to 4 pm.
The event is free and open to the public.
Don’t miss the chance to discover apprenticeship and training opportunities, explore Alaska’s high-growth job market, and see where you fit in.
