Kellie Arthur, Soldotna High School senior distance runner and nordic skier, signed a national letter of intent on Monday at SoHi committing to the athletic program at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Kellie plans to compete for the Mavericks in cross country running, outdoor track and nordic skiing. Colorado Mesa competes in cross country running and track in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the NCAA Division II. Nordic Skiing competes through the USCSA sports federation for collegiate team ski racing and snowboarding in America.
Kellie is currently competing for the Soldotna Stars track team, primarily in distance events. Kellie earned eighth in the 2018 Region III Skimeister standings for nordic skiing in February.
