The Homer High School Roof Replacement Pay-Go Critical Infrastructure Project, Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the Roof Replacement Project, new exterior side on a portion of West Homer Elementary, and critical bridge infrastructure were the capital projects identified.

Three local entities received competitive tourism marketing grants for the COVID-safe campaign. They include the Kenai Peninsula Tourism Marketing Council ($410,000), Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center ($253,489), and the Seward Chamber of Commerce ($179,000).
Alaska now joins at least 30 other states and more than 60 countries that have already detected the Omicron variant.
