Health officials are confirming 296 more COVID-19 cases. The latest numbers from the Department of Health and Social Services shows more than 18,100 cases since the pandemic began. Currently, 89 people are in the hospital with the virus. Seven of those patients are on a ventilator.

Health officials are reporting another surge of COVID-19 cases in Alaska. The latest numbers on Wednesday from the Department of Health and Social Services shows 413 new infections.

TUESDAY: 382 New Cases of COVID-19

COVID-19 numbers continue to increase after state health officials confirmed 382 new cases Tuesday. Eight resident cases and one nonresident case were added to the dashboard through data verification procedures. This brings the total number of Alaska resident cases to 16,360 and the total number of nonresident cases to 1,088.
