Kenai adopted a resolution to authorize the purchase of real property for the public purpose of including the property in the Bluff Erosion Restoration Project.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough took up discussion on a resolution that would support a private boat take-out facility on the lower Kasilof River as opposed to government owned boat take-out facilities. The resolution was introduced by Assembly Member Brent Johnson.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly, through a proclamation issued by Borough Mayor Mike Navarre, has resolved that the Month of November will be Family Caregiver Month for the Kenai Peninsula Borough.

The Soldotna City Council enacted an ordinance to clarify the violation of unlawful interconnection of sewers under the minor offense schedule to include a fine for violation of Soldotna Municipal Code.

After reviewing previous calendars, it was established the meetings would be scheduled every first and third Wednesday of each month.

Residents of Kenai have been asked not to push snow on to city streets and it is proposed that an ordinance be made for residents to move their cars from the route that snow operators need to address in the winter months.

The Kenai Senior Center will host the Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday, November 18 and the meal is open to seniors from all over the Central Peninsula. 

The City of Soldotna recognizes and honors the brave men and women and their families and encourages citizens to join them in these efforts.

A total of eight teams from around the state would travel to Soldotna for the three-day, Division II hockey championship event.

The KPB Assembly set a Special Mayoral Election Date and appropriated funds for conducting the special election.
