Dunleavy vetoed the $334,700 from the court system’s budget over an Alaska Supreme Court ruling that struck down an anti-abortion law passed by the Alaska Legislature. That has now been ruled as unconstitutional.

The vaccine shipments for Pfizer’s vaccine are expected to arrive in the middle of the month, with Moderna’s shipment expected to arrive soon-after. Regular shipments are set to proceed throughout 2021.

Around $1.1 million in CARES funds have been set aside for the program, but only $700,000 has been sent out, thus far.

If the decision is not impacted by legislative action within the next year, the impact will be seen beginning in the 2022 fishing season.
