The location of the project area is described as being within Resurrection Bay, approximately 2.7 nautical miles south of Seward.

Updated Wednesday at 4:10 p.m.: Republicans appear to have won big and both ballot measures have appear to have failed, but many absentee ballots will not be counted until next week. Alaska is the last state in the nation to count their absentee ballots.

The Challenger Center aims to show the youth of the peninsula what is possible if they pursue a future in science, and even more by focusing on the overall growth that comes with STEM education.  They work to enrich the lives of area youth solely through volunteerism and contributions.
