Food box availability began on October 5th at three pickup locations in Soldotna. The boxes are set to be provided free-of-charge to any household in need. The Food Bank noted on social media that more people can benefit if those in-need choose one only pickup location per week.

The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge announced this week that they are offering personal use firewood collection, by permit. Permits went into effect on October 1 and will expire on March 31, 2021.
