Sterling Highway REDDI Stop Leads To 100 MPH Drive-Off

State Troopers out of Soldotna received a REDDI report on Saturday evening at 7:32 p.m. regarding a Chevrolet truck southbound from Mile 68 of the Sterling Highway. Troopers located the truck near Mile 85 of the Sterling Highway and initiated a traffic stop, leading to the driver speeding away at over 100 miles-per-hour.

Apraxia Kids will host the 2020 Alaska Virtual Walk for Apraxia to continue the efforts of supporting children, families, and professionals affected by childhood apraxia of speech. Registered participants will have the opportunity to view the privately released virtual ceremony on September 5 and are encouraged to spread awareness by walking in their own local areas.
