U.S. Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan seek to connect with Alaskans on Thursday, July 23, at 4:00 p.m. They will be hosting a live one hour teletown hall to take questions on a range of topics, particularly the fight against COVID-19 and efforts to get businesses and families through the public health emergency.

Last week, the Pebble Partnership claimed in a release that this final EIS will demonstrate why they believe the controversial project can be done without harm to the Bristol Bay fishery. Pebble’s confidence is at odds with the Bristol Bay Native Corporation, which has shown a consistent message of concern about the risks posed by the mine.
