Governor: “Test Negative For COVID Before Entering Alaska, No Quarantine Necessary”

The Governor noted that his administration has been working for a couple of weeks to revise Health Mandate 10, which dictates that a 14-day quarantine is mandatory for folks coming in from out-of-state. Effective Friday, June 5, travelers who test negative before flying into Alaska can enter the state as-normal.

Seven New Positive COVID-19 Cases In Kenai Peninsula

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported 13 new positive COVID-19 cases in their Thursday update, including seven in the Kenai Peninsula Borough.  Two are in Homer, one in Kenai, one in Nikiski, and three are designated only as Kenai Peninsula Borough.
