Governor Mike Dunleavy held a press conference on Monday, joined by Senior Medical Officer Dr. Alexander Eastman, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to discuss his upcoming tour to assess Alaska’s preparedness for COVID-19.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski recently sent a letter requesting that several governmental agencies combine efforts to allocate personal protective equipment and rapid COVID-19 tests for federal wildland fire crews.
