The co-owner of a vehicle repair shop in Wasilla was sentenced today to three years’ probation and a $50,000 fine for intentionally altering emission control systems in at least 144 diesel trucks, violating the Clean Air Act.

Winter Weather Advisory For Southcentral Alaska Including Kenai Peninsula

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Southcentral Alaska, including the Kenai Peninsula, Anchorage, and the Mat-Su Valley, predicting as much as a foot of snow in some places, blowing snow and wind with gusts up to 40 mph.
