A Kenai grand jury on Wednesday returned a twelve-count indictment charging 30-year-old Josiah Kelly with various crimes related to three shooting incidents in Homer.

The Alaska Division of Elections hosted a live Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) tabulation event on Wednesday night to announce the unofficial winners of races that were not decided by a 50% majority vote. 

The competition is part of the statewide “One Pill Can Kill – Alaska” public awareness campaign that Senator Sullivan launched in May.

The storm, characterized by high winds coinciding with high tides, caused significant coastal erosion and extensive damage to critical infrastructure and property across the region, from Ninilchik Harbor Road to the City of Homer and surrounding areas.
