Man Sentenced For 2021 Fairbanks Safeway Shooting

44-year-old Joshua Butcher was sentenced to 85 years for the shooting that occurred at a Safeway in Fairbanks on Nov. 7, 2021. Assistant District Attorney Anna Ralph called it “one of, if not the most, shocking cases in Fairbanks’ history” that threatened the entire community’s sense of security.
