The Alaska Department of Transportation will be conducting Avalanche Hazard Reduction work on the Seward Highway today (Wednesday) from 12pm-3pm.
Avalanche crews will be conducting avalanche mitigation on the Seward Highway from mp 88-82. The DOT warns of road closures, short delays, and traffic stops. They’re asking motorists to be prepared to stop and watch for maintenance equipment on the roadway.
