The Kenai and SoHi baseball teams traveled to the Valley for high school conference baseball.
The Soldotna Stars recorded a pair of victories for the weekend. Kenai recorded its first victory on Friday.
SoHi 7 – Palmer 6
The Stars downed Palmer 7-6 behind a five-inning, scoreless performance on the mound by Justice Miller.
SoHi 13 – Houston 2
Starting pitcher Joey Becher threw a complete game, five hitter for the Stars.
Kenai 11 – Houston 2
The Kardinal hitters combined for 14 hits and 11 runs with Paul Steffensen throwing a complete game.
Kenai 7 – Palmer 17
In girls softball, SoHi traveled to Ketchikan for a four, non-conference contests. SoHi failed to score a run in the four games.
