With just two weekends remaining in the regular season for 3A and 4A basketball, the Nikiski Bulldogs have five conference opponents on the schedule for the final nine days; four of the conference showdowns will be on the Bulldogs home court.
The Kenai Kardinals face non-conference Eagle River on Friday for the Kardinals’ Senior Night, then the Kenai girls play a single game against Juneau on Saturday.
The SoHi girls battle Juneau on Friday following a loss to Juneau on Thursday.

Nikiski Girls 44 – Grace 26
The Bulldogs pulled-away from Grace in the second half for a 44-26 Southcentral Conference victory on Thursday. Bethany Carstens scored all 14 points for Nikiski in the first quarter as the Bulldogs built a 14-7 lead. Nikiski outscored Grace 25-9 in the second half. Carstens lead the way with 26 points.
Nikiski Boys 40 – Grace 72
The Nikiski boys played even with Grace through a half, trailing 26-24 at the half. Grace outscored the Bulldogs 46-16 in the second half for a 72-40 Southcentral Conference victory. Noah Litke lead Nikiski with 16 points; four Grizzlies scored in double figures.
SoHi Girls 36 – Juneau 57
Juneau held the Stars to single digit scoring in each of the first three quarters, in-route-to a 57-36 non-conference win in 4A basketball. Three Crimson Bears scored in double figures; Danica Schmidt lead SoHi with 11 points.
