Palmer Elks Shootout: Soldotna Stars Boys Thursday – Saturday, January 19-21
The 2017 Palmer Elks Shootout is a round-robin, three day tournament hosted at Palmer High School.

The Soldotna Star boys opened tournament play with a rematch win over the Juneau Crimson Bears 48-45. The Stars revenged a loss to Juneau from last week’s Joe T Tournament in Fairbanks. SoHi’s Caleb Spence scored 16 for the Stars.
SoHi faces Palmer on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the round-robin, format tournament.
2017 O’Brady’s Invitational @ South Anchorage High: Kenai Kardinal Boys
The O’Brady’s Invitational was a bracketed, three day tournament hosted at South Anchorage High School.

The Kardinal boys fell to the Eagles 65-51 in the South Tournament opening round. The Kards and Eagles were tied at 27 at the half; West outscored Kenai 38-24 in the second half. Tristan Landry lead the Kards with 14 points.
SoHi Girls @ Barrow
The Soldotna Star girls travel to Barrow for a pair of non-conference games against the Barrow Whalers on Friday and Saturday, January 20-21.
