The Soldotna City Council will hold a work session at 5 pm Wednesday, January 28 to discuss the Birch Ridge Golf Course.

Dixson: “We received a proposal from The Central Peninsula Health Foundation with regard to their proposed purchase of the golf course.”

 

That was Soldotna City Manager  Mark Dixson who said initial proposal from the Central Peninsula Health Foundation would purchase the property from the golf course for $700,00o.

 

The Foundation plans to get half of those funds from the Rasmuson Foundation and would be requesting the other half of the funding from the city according to Dixson.

 

No action will be taken at the work session, Dixson said it is an opportunity for the Central Peninsula Health Foundation to discuss their proposal to the council .
