UPDATE 10/21/20 – On October 15th, an Anchorage Grand Jury indicted 35-year-old Sarah Dayan for the 1st and 2nd degree murder of 57-year-old Keith Huss of Soldotna. Other criminal charges include 1st degree vehicle theft and tampering with physical evidence. Huss’s body was found in a pullout near Mile marker 68.5 of the Seward Highway in the early morning of Sept. 29. Huss had trauma to his body and had been shot. On the afternoon of September 28th, Huss picked up Dayan at Wildwood Pretrial; Huss was Dayan’s third-party custodian.
UPDATE 10/01/20 – Alaska State Troopers found 35-year-old Sarah Dayan of Homer. She was detained in Seward at 5:24 p.m. this evening. She was transported to the local hospital as she reported to troopers on contact that he suffered injuries she sustained prior to Alaska State Troopers locating her. Upon her hospital release, she will be interviewed by investigators. The homicide investigation continues.
Original Update 5:30pm – Based on investigation, this death investigation is being treated as a homicide case.
Investigators are currently looking for Sarah Dayan, 35 of Homer.
Dayan is believed to be in the Seward area.
She should be considered armed and dangerous.

Original Post – Soldotna Alaska State Troopers were notified on Tuesday, September 29 at approximately 12:17 a.m., that there was a deceased male in the pullout near Mile Marker 68.5 on the Seward Highway near the Turnagain Pass Pullouts.
Seward Alaska State Troopers responded to the scene and confirmed the male was deceased.
The unidentified individual was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsy and positive identification.
The investigation is ongoing.
