The Alaska Board of Game will hold a special, non-regulatory meeting on Friday to discuss Dall sheep.
That agenda includes expanding the call for proposals on statewide hunting and bag limits for sheep, a request to rescind Board action on Proposal 207, and consideration of agenda change requests for the 2016 board meeting where a sheep working group would be discussed.
Proposal 207 pertains to expanding sheep hunting opportunities by possibly changing regulations regarding the use of aircraft during sheep hunting seasons.
The Board will accept written public comments via the Board of Game website or fax (907-465-6094) on those topics until 3 pm Thursday, April 23.
The Friday, April 24 meeting will begin at 8:30 am and can be streamed on the Board of Game website during the meeting but testimony will not be taken.
