The 2015 Borealis Conference Volleyball Tournament opens play on Thursday, November 19th at Lumen Christi School in Anchorage with the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles and Ninilchik Wolverines representing the Kenai Peninsula in the 2A division of high school volleyball.
Cordova, 17-0 in regular season, earns the #1 seed and will play the winner of the play-in game between #8 seed Lumen Christi and #9 seed Wasilla Lake. Cordova has a bye into the 7:00 p.m. game on Thursday.
The Ninilchik Wolverines open tournament play with a 4:00 p.m. contest against Holy Rosary.
The Cook Inlet Academy Eagles follow with a 5:30 match against Birchwood Christian.
The top two teams from the Borealis tournament advance to the ASAA 2A State Volleyball Championships, scheduled for December 3-5 at Dimond High School in Anchorage.
