The 2019 Kenai Peninsula Borough Cross Country Running Championships are scheduled for Saturday, September 21st on the Tsalteshi Trails at Skyview Middle School.
The first of the running calendar’s “Big 3” (boroughs, region and state) features junior varsity races starting at noon with the jv boys, followed by the jv girls at 12:45 p.m. Varsity races begin at 1:30 with the varsity boys followed by the varsity girls at 2:00 p.m. The award ceremony follows with awards for the top ten in each division.
Schools scheduled to attend include: Homer, Kenai, Nikiski, Nikolaevsk, Ninilchik, Seward, Soldotna and Voznesenka.
