Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Mike Navarre and Oil and Gas Special Assistant Larry Persily will host a question and answer session tonight about recent events with the Alaska LNG Project.
No AK LNG Project members will be present to speak and neither will State of Alaska representatives. Larry Persily…
Persily: “It will be myself and the mayor answering questions, sharing information. This is not a forum for one side or another to promote a point of view but to present factional information of what’s going on to the extent that we know it.”
Larry says he has no new or secret information regarding the project. This session will be strictly to discuss the facts.
Persily: “I want to try to explain to people what’s happened with the Alaska LNG Project in the last couple weeks, where I think it might go in the next year, what it may mean for the community, answer questions as best we can, even though, I admit, we don’t have all the answers.”
The question and answer session is open to the public and begins at 7:00pm at the Nikiski Recreation Center.
