Boston Marathon Includes Four Peninsula Runners

The 127th running of the Boston Marathon, set for Monday, April 17th through the streets of Boston, Massachusetts, includes 44 Alaskans and four runners from the Kenai Peninsula.

 

The Boston Marathon includes multiple divisions including professional, para Athletics, wheelchair, handcycles  and four waves of amateur runners.

 

Alaskans who have qualified for the 2023 Boston Marathon include:

Amanda Cherok, age 35, of Homer

Collin Atkinson, age 31, of Seward

Patrick Lewis, age 35, of Seward

Torrey Short , age 38, of Homer
