12:30pm Update: Power has been restored along Miller Loop.

Homer Electric Association has reported a power outage in Nikiski and crews are already working to restore power.
Joe Gallagher with HEA detailed the outage.
Gallagher: “Homer Electrice Association is responding to a power outage today in the Miller Loop area in Nikiski. The power outage started at approximately 11:15 this morning and is affecting 318 HEA members including the North Star Elementary School. It appears the outage was caused by a tree that has fallen across the power line, we do have a crew dispatched and hope to have power restored shortly.”
