The Kenai River Brown Bears, currently 5-19 on the season and 4-12 in Alaska, close-out their first Alaska swing with a pair of Midwest Division games against the Anchorage Wolverines.
The Brown Bears face-off against the Wolverines on Friday and Saturday, December 10-11 at the Ben Boeke Arena in Anchorage.
Kenai River split with the Wolverines at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex with the Brown Bears winning on Friday 4-2 with a pair of goals by Carter Green; Kenai River fell on Saturday 5-3 to the Wolverines with Tommy Aiken recording 29 saves for the Bears.
The current standings in the NAHL Midwest Division find Kenai River in eighth place in the eight-team Midwest Division with a record of 5-19 and 10 points. The Anchorage Wolverines are in fourth place with a record of 14-9-1 and 29 points; the Fairbanks Ice Dogs stand in first place with a record of 18-8-0-1 and 37 points.

Following the two-game series in Anchorage, the Brown Bears travel to Springfield to play the Springfield Jr. Blues on December 16th. The Brown Bears return to the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex for their next home series on January 21st against the Janesville Jets.
