For a second-straight game at the NAHL Showcase, the Kenai River Brown Bears are taken to overtime and fall 3-2 in the North American Hockey League premier tournament.
The Brown Bears scored two, first period goals on the Lone Star Brahmas and lead 2-0 after one period. The Brahmas scored a goal in the second and a goal in the third period to tie the game in regulation; the game-tying goal coming mid-way through the third period. Kenai River goals were recorded by Porter Schachle and Theo Thrun.
The Brahmas scored the game-winning goal with only 2:57 remaining in the overtime period.

Kenai River moves to 0-2 in the Showcase and will face the Jamestown Rebels on Friday and Austin Bruins on Saturday.
