Merry Christmas Brown Bears!
The Kenai River Brown Bears Junior A hockey team, for the first time in team history, stand in first place in the Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League at the Christmas break. The Brown Bears own a record of 22-8-1-3 and a total of 48 points, good for first place by a mere point over Alaska rival Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
The Brown Bears return to action on Friday and Saturday, January 4-5 in Amarillo, Texas with a two-game series against the Amarillo Bulls. The Brown Bears next home stand begins January 17th against the Maine Nordiques at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex. The Brown Bears will enter 2020 in first place!
