Brown Bears Force Game Five With 4-1 Win Over Minnesota

The Midwest Division best of five series will go five!

 

The Kenai River Brown Bears bounce back from an 0-2 series deficit with a second-straight victory over the Minnesota Magicians, downing the Magicians 4-1 on Saturday on the Bears home ice in Blaine Minnesota.

Kenai River opened the scoring midway through the first period on a Brandon Lajoie goal and after a Minnesota goal the first period ended even at 1-1.

Lucas Wahlin gave Kenai River the lead with a goal in the second period and Max Hegelson and Laudon Poelinger scored third-period goals.  Luke Pavicich recorded 39 saves on 40 shots.

 

The Brown Bears and Magicians meet in game five for the Midwest Division title on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Richfield Ice Arena.
