A change of venue will hopefully bring a change in fortune for the Kenai River Brown Bears as the Midwest Division playoffs move to the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
Kenai River hosts the Minnesota Wilderness on the Brown Bears home ice on Friday night with a scheduled 7:30 p.m. drop of the puck.
The Brown Bears trail the Minnesota Wilderness two-games-to none in the best of five opening series.
The first round of the Midwest Division playoffs opened with the Wilderness sweeping the Brown Bears 3-1 and 2-1 over the weekend, now needing only one win to advance to the division championship series.
