The Kenai River Brown Bears closed their opening road swing in the NAHL with a three-game sweep of the Springfield Jr. Blues and a two-game sweep of the Wisconsin Windigo and open Kenai River’s first home stand with a Friday-Saturday series against in-state rival Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
The Brown Bears currently stand in first place in the Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League with a record of 9-3-0-0 and a six-game win streak. The Ice Dogs stand at 7-5-0-0 in the Midwest Division.
Kenai River’s home schedule features a 15-game home stand running through December 3rd at SRSC.
Game times for the Brown Bears vs Ice Dogs series are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. drop of the puck both Friday and Saturday.
