Brown Bears vs Magicians is scheduled for 4 p.m. Alaska Time on Friday, with game two set for Saturday at the Richfield Arena.
Kenai River and Minnesota advance to the second round of the Robertson Cup playoffs following upset opening-round victories over higher, first round seeds. The Brown Bears defeated #1 seed Janesville 3-1 and the Minnesota Magicians swept the #2 seed Fairbanks Ice Dogs 3-0.
Kenai River has been lead on offense by Max Helgeson and Lucas Wahlin, who each posted 5-point efforts in the opening round. In goal, Luke Pavicich posted a 3-1 record in the first round series and posted a save percentage of 92%.
