The Kenai River Brown Bears, following a split with the Springfield Jr. Blues, head out on the road with a three-game series in Fairbanks against the Ice Dogs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 22-24 in the Bog Dipper Arena.
The Junior A Brown Bears stand at 0-10 against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the Ravn Alaska Cup Series. Thursday’s game is set for a 7:00 p.m. start; Friday and Saturday games are scheduled for 7:30 start times.
Kenai River stands at 3-34-1 in the Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League and will face-off against the division leader Fairbanks, who stand at 29-6-3 and hold first place in the division.
The Brown Bears split with Springfield at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex taking game one Friday 3-2 and falling Saturday 3-2. The Brown Bears will be on the road until February 19th and have only two home series remaining in the 2015-16 season.
