With six weeks remaining in the regular season for the NAHL, the Kenai River Brown Bears have an off-weekend before a five-week push to the season end.
The Brown Bears split with the Minnesota Magicians on the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex ice last weekend.
Kenai River defeated Minnesota 7-5 on Friday and fell to the Magicians 4-2 on Saturday.
Kenai River currently stands in eighth place in the eight-team Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League with a record of 12-32-3-2 and 29 points. The Fairbanks Ice Dogs own first place with a record of 30-15-1-2 and 63 points. The Anchorage Wolverines stand in third overall with a record of 23-15-4-1 and 51 points.
Next on the Brown Bears schedule is a home series against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12 at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
