Brown Bears Surrender Three-Straight To Ice Dogs: Fairbanks Ties Ravn Cup

A three-game sweep on the home ice of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, which featured 18 goals by the Ice Dogs in Fairbank’s three victories, dropped the Kenai River Brown Bears 14 games back of the Ice Dogs in the Midwest Division standings.

 

The Kenai River Brown Bears own a record of 2-9 since the first of the year, only the three games in Fairbanks against teams in the Midwest Division.

 

Kenai River fell 7-2 on Thursday, 5-4 in overtime on Friday and 6-3 to Fairbanks on Saturday.

 

The Ravn Cup Series stands at 3-3, with both teams sporting an extra-time loss.  The Ravn Cup is the head-to-head, season-long series between the Kenai River Brown Bears and the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
