The Kenai River Brown Bears open a three weekend, road trip in-state with a pair of contests in Fairbanks against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Friday and Saturday, October 21-22.
The Junior A Brown Bears will face the Ice Dogs at the Big Dipper Arena with game times scheduled for 7:30 p.m. each night.
The Brown Bears currently stand in sixth place in the six-team Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League with a league record of 0-8-1 and one point. The Janesville Jets lead the Midwest with an 8-2-0-1 record and 17 points. Fairbanks is currently fourth in the division with a 5-4-1-1 record and 11 points.
