Bucs Take Series Opener From The Oilers

The Peninsula Oilers dropped their series opener to the Anchorage Bucs, 7-4, on Tuesday, June 25.

 

The Oilers lit up in the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring Elijah Vogelsong-Lewis, Ty Thomas, Cole Wilson, and Cole New, taking a 4-0 lead.

 

That would be the last run for the Oilers, as the Bucs came back with three runs in the sixth and seventh innings and one more in the ninth.

 

Final score: Bucs 7 – Oilers 4.
