The Nikiski Bulldog basketball teams traveled to Homer on Tuesday for Southcentral Conference contests against the Homer Mariners; recording a victory for the Bulldog girls and the Nikiski boys fall to the Mariners.
The Nikiski girls overpowered Homer 57-16, lead by a 23 point effort by Brethany Carstens. The Homer boys held down Nikiski 65-38; Ian Johnson scored 21 for the Bulldogs.
Nikiski will host Seward on Friday, January 29th in Southcentral Conference action at Nikiski High School.
