The brackets are set for the state championships in high school volleyball, scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, November 9-11 at West Anchorage High School.
The 2017 ASAA State Volleyball Championships feature two separate divisional tournaments, with the 3A and 4A volleyball tournaments both held at West Anchorage High School.

3A State Volleyball
The Nikiski Bulldogs enter the state tournament as the #2 seed from the Southcentral Conference following a runner-up finish at the SCC tournament. Grace Christian is the SCC #1 seed. Other 3A qualifiers include: Valdez, Barrow, Kotzebue, Sitka, Hutchison and Mt. Edgecumbe.
Nikiski opens tournament play on Thursday, November 9th with a 10- a.m. pairing against Valdez.

4A State Volleyball
The Soldotna Stars, the #2 seed from the Northern Lights Conference, enter the 4A state volleyball tournament following a second-place finish at the NLC tournament. Other qualifiers for the 4A championships include: Wasilla, Colony, Bartlett, Dimond, East, Juneau and West Valley.
SoHi faces Juneau Douglas in the 11:45 a.m. pairing, the first game of the 4A division at West High.
