The visiting Homer Mariners volleyball team posted a four-set Southcentral Conference victory over the host Nikiski Bulldogs on Wednesday night at Nikiski.

The Mariners downed Nikiski 25-15, 25-19, 23-25 and 25-19 in conference play with the Mariners improving to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in the SCC. Ariel VanZandt recorded seven kills and seven blocks for the Bulldogs.
Nikiski falls to 0-3 in head-to-head play and 0-1 in the SCC.
Peninsula teams travel to Anchorage for the West Spiketacular scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 17th and 18th.
