Around 2:30 pm today on KB drive, located behind the Orca theater on K-Beach, a Bulldozer caught fire.
Brad Nelson with CES has the details.
Nelson: “Units got on scene within ten minutes and discovered a John Deere 850 dozer, a good sized dozer, on fire and fully engulfed in flames. Crews extinguished it using water and then foam systems. The building that was next to it go it a little bit of heat damage on the garage door, but nothing bad. So we made sure it didn’t spread into the building any further. Value’s going to be estimated righ taround $30,000 for the loss of the dozer.”
No injuries were reported and the site has been cleared.
